  • Gamaret

    Red Vinifera. created by André Jaquinet at Station Fédérale de Recherches en Production Végétale de Changins in 1970 by crossing Gamay and Reichensteiner. Wine tastes like a Syrah Pinot Noir Blend with high quality crop. Red ripe fruit and black pepper taste. More resistant then Pinot Noir for mildew and rot.

    Red Hybrid. Med-large clusters, medium berries, Mainly used for blening or a thin Rose. Sometimes late harvest Rose. Wine has a light scent of Strawberry, earthly aroma. Low acidity.

    Pink Seedless Table Grape. Medium sized red. Strawberry flavor. compact clusters.

    Blue table Grape. Semi seedless. Early ripening. sweet-and-sour taste that bursts in the mouth. Distinctive and musky. Most commonly grown eating grape in Canada. Effective spacing 9x5 with 4 vines/interpost.

  • St. Pepin

    White Hybrid. Needs pollinating. La Crescent has the same cold hardiness, budding and pruning times. Frontenac Gris or Blanc work well, ripen time off. L'Acadie Blanc works well but not the same cold tolerance.( It's hard to protect every 10th plant) pollinator every 10th plant staggered in rows. Medium loose clusters, Medium sized berries, fine, fresh mineral, honey late harvest wine with white flower and peach aromas. Well structured, full body.

    Red Vinifera. Low Vigor. Late bud break. Midseason ripening. Small/medium sized clusters, black/blue grapes. Requires long season.

  • Vanessa

    Pink/Red Semi-seedless Table Grape developed by HRIO, Canada, good quality. The vine is moderately vigorous. Graft to increase vine size. The seed remnant is usually large and soft. Berries are medium in size on medium, well-filled clusters. Storage potential is good. The flavor is mild and fruity, and berry texture is firm. Good fruit quality.
